The appearances of my grandmother ...   Author: 17  Category:(Dreams) Created:(8/28/1999 10:29:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1010 times) To begin with, when I was 7 yrs of age, my grandmother had passed away. And at the time of her passing, my father, brother , and I were on vacation in San Antonio,Tx. It was at the time of midnight when we were sitting in Denny's restaurant eating our late dinner. As we sat ... my father had mentioned that he could have sworn he just saw granny. We all had a very distinct and weird feeling ... for we felt a very strong presence, or something bad has happened. As we returned to our hotel room... there was the flashing light on the phone. When we checked the message, there was a call from my mother asking for us to call back as soon as possible. And at that moment, as we called ... my mother broke the horrible news of the passing away of my grandmother. We then came straight home that very night. She had passed away at midnight that night. Now, the years have gone by ... I am now 18 years old , and out of highschool. It wasn't too long ago that something came about one night that really got to me and touched me deeply. I had the most touching dream I think I may ever have. And this is a dream that seems like a very strong connection with my family members. I had dreamt that my grandmother had returned from the other world to visit us here at our house. When she walked through that door... I could see her so very clearly. She walked over to me, and I just hugged her. And my mother rushed over to hug her ... and the whole family rushed over to hug her. And it isn't until this dream that I am really touched ... It all felt so very real in the dream and I woke up crying rather heavily. I told my mother about my dream, and her mouth had just dropped. She had had the same dream. And I told my father, and he had had the same dream! We all had the same dream that very night ... and that just really touches me, for ! I feel that she had one last chance to say goodbye to us, and I believe that she did it through our dreams... That night of the dream, it is like it had just hit me that she was gone, and that is when I grieved it the most. Though after that dream, I feel very relieved and happy that I had been able to retrieve that last hug from her ... before she went on her way... How it changed my life: This has greatly affected my life as a soothing of my heart. I feel that her appearance in my dream and my family's the same night, rested our regrets and sadness. We now feel that everything is how it should be and we are very greatful for the last visit...
