Sickle anyone?   Author: 17  Category:(Ghosts) Created:(8/28/1999 10:27:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1094 times) Me and a few friends decided to go for a ride after we finished the Rocky Horror Picture Show around midnight at the movies. It was me (Meghan), my best friend Jessica, her boyfriend Ed, and our other friend Shane. We didn't want to go home right away so Shane took us for a ride. After about a half an hour we found oursleves driving in pitch black dark in the middle of the country. Shane was starting to tell us about a story where a farmer in that area killed 7 people back in the mid 1900's. And that his way of killing his victims would be with a sickle used to cut down corn and other plants. Well the boys decided to scare us, so they Shane stopped the car on the side of the road and got out. Soon after that Ed followed and left me and Jess in the car. We locked all of the car doors and waited. Shane or Ed started shaking the car and we heard a scream. Me and Jess screamed at the top of our lungs and clung to each other in the backseat. Ed started banging on the windo! w and everything went quiet for ten minutes. We could see shadows walking outside surrounding the car. Then all of a sudden we heard the key in the lock. Me and Jess looked at each other ad held all the locks down so no one could get in. Then we heard Shane yell 'let me in, quick, hurry!' So I opened the door for Shane. Ed was nowhere to be found. Then Ed finally came back to the car and got in. They started to burst out laughing. I slapped Shane in the back of the head. I told him never to do that again. So he started up the car and we went on our way. 5 minutes later we saw a man hitch-hiking on the back country road, so Shane decided to stop. We all looked at him and froze in terror. It was a farmer walking down the road with a big sickle in his hand! I finally got the courage to say to Shane 'just go!' Shane sped off and the image of that farmer is stuck in my mind still today. I will never go riding wih Shane in the country again! How it changed my life: From then on i always lock my car doors when driving at night and will always be weary of people looking for rides.
