One night I was sound asleep in my room. It was just me and my two kids one 7, and the other 10. My husbad was not home because he works Graveyard shift so he was not expected home until about 6:30 a.m in the morning. I was awoken suddenly by a strange unexpected crash coming from downstairs. I sat up straight and just sat there and listend for a while I heard nothing so I figured I must had dreamed I heard something and went back to sleep. Then I heard a creaking soud as if someone was sneaking up the stairs I then got up and got my husbands gun that he keeps in the dresser next to our bed. I ran to my daughters room and she was sitting up and crying. I asked what was wrong and she said daddy was standing at the foot of her bed and told her he loves and will always love her and that this was goodbye and he was sorry for leaving!! My son then told me the same thing. About ten minutes later the phone rang and it was my husbands boss and he said my husband had a ! terrible accident and that he was killed instantley. I just started to cry. His ghost has never came back since that night I'm glad he came and told the kids bye it made it a little easier for them. How it changed my life:It has changed it very much I and my children miss there father very much!
