In 1988, I woke up in the recovery room of a Hospital. Everyone was telling me that I had died. One Paramedic stated, 'You was dead. D-E-A-D! You was out longer than I have ever heard. How you are alive is nothing short of a miracle.' I felt like I had awaken in some parrelle universe and instantly thought of the twilight zone theme song. I had a Police office tell me the same thing. 'We were called to investigate a homicide. When we got to the scene, we were told the murder victim was on his way to the hospital. From all the eyewitness accounts, you should still be dead. How your alive is beyond explanation.' I then had a Doctor come in and tell me, 'I am looking at the X -ray of a man who should be sitting in a morgue. It is not medically possible for me to be here talking to you. This is the most remarkable thing I have seen in my medical professional life.' I later had friends tell me the same thing. 'You were dead for a very long time!' I thought everyone of them was crazy. It was the mystery of my life. Why did people believe that death was the end to life? I was very much aware of what had happened the whole time. The real part of me took a little stroll outside the body for awhile. I have done it many times before. It always seemed to amaze people when I did it. It always left me to debate the issue with others who witnessed it. People would always be blind to the spiritual body. If they were blind to it --- then it didn't exist. I knew better and was not about to have anyone tell me differently. 10 years later, I have started to write down some of the details of those events. I do so in an effort to help take the fear out of dying and help others put some Life into Living. I have read and heard it called a 'Near Death Experience.' I don't like that expression. Mine was an After Progessive Physical Life Experience.' An APPLE in the sky adventure. I entered into adult hood with the same perspective of Life. The experience in 1988 only reinforced my beliefs and understanding.
