In 1985 i divorced my husband.And moved in with my sister.During my stay with her i had a dream that i was in my own apartment.And in the dream i had all my furnature arranged away from the walls to be closer to the fire place.I had gotten up from the chair and walkd behind the sofa,As i did this i steped on a chicken bone and it cut into my foot. Cursing the dog i went on into the kitchen,to get something to drink.A man grabbed me from behind and threw me up against the refrige.i was staring into the eyes of a tall black male. and i started fighting him.He had a large kitchen knife,And started stabbing me in the stomach.All i seen befor i woke was my body sliding down to the floor in a puddle of blood. I told my family of the dream.And they all just shook it off as a real nightmare.Over the years i forgot the dream.I told my daughter of it once or twice.then in 1989.we moved into are apartment,At the time not remembering the dream i told my daughter i dont like the wall paper in this room it reminds me of something unpleasant.so we arranged the furnature,unpacked and setteled in.we had gotten us a little dog from the lady i worked with.we were ahappy little bunch.one friday night i asked my daughter if she wanted some koolaid.she said yes. so i got up and walked around the sofa.i stepped on a dog bone.my mind clicked. i yelled for my daughter to move the sofa against the wall.NOW' She looked at me as if id lost my mind.I ran to the kitchen,And started plastering butter knifes in the door frame,so no one could get in.About 10 miniutes later we heard a scream outside our kitchen door,I went and peaked out the window,There was a man on top of a woman.I couldnt call the police because we didnt have a phone.to go to a phone booth i had to go out that door, so i stood there unable to help.later the police showed up at my door and asked if i had seen or heard anything.i told them the man had a women on the ground,He was wearing a white jacket, They found him 3 blocks away. and brought him out side of my apartment for me to look out and idenify,He was the black man in my dream.I asked if the woman was ok,They told me if she had fought the rapest he would have probley have killed her, he was found carring the bone knife he had held to her face while he raped her,the wall paper'was in my dream thats why it looked so familure to me.
