A friend's daughter has been missing since 12/12/98, and other friends and myself are doing everything we can to find her; she told her parents she was moving from Tucson, AZ. to Tallahassee, FL., but as yet they have heard nothing either from or about her, and are understandably worried sick. Adding to their misery is the newly-revealed knowledge Katie might be on the run from recent troubles, and as such might not contact them for some time; her father-- my friend; I haven't met her mother --says he does not care about that so much as he cares for her safe return, and, if she's out there, asks only that she call. There is one page dedicated to this disappearance that I personally know of, but before i give out that address I want to add a couple new developments that will not be on it: she has cut her hair and dyed it black after all, and she has no car, other than that, all things are accurate. The address is www.ctesc.net/~tamara/katherine/ if anyone is interested.! ...I know my friend is not the only one searching for missing loved ones, but in my opinion that fact should only make everyone more determined to find everyone; things we hear about in the news always happen to other people til it happens to us, and although I don't mean to sound preachy, but if that general feeling, of it's not our problem til it gets personal, was erased, we'd all be the better for it.
