the stocksbridge bypass incident   Author: 17  Category:(Ghosts) Created:(8/28/1999 10:19:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (3254 times) My parents where driving me home from a Sheffield Wednesday game. it was about 10:15 p.m. on august 22 1992. it was a rainy night and the roads were difficult to see ahead. we where driving along the new Stocksbridge Bypass. The road had only been opened for about 4 months. all of a sudden we heard a crash of lightning and the car in front of us spun out into the side of the road. And then what i saw next i will never forget! a 1800's horse and carriage rolled across the highway at about 2 mph. there were 4 ghostly apparitions sitting in the front of the carriage.
