My birth date is April 7, 1959. The reason I`m writing this may seem strange to you, but it`s very important to myself and my mother. When I was born my mom said that she was barely awake. But she remembers bits and pieces of a conversation between the nueses and the Doctor that delivered me. Well she insists that there was a twin. She heard them also say, 'did you ever see anything like it?' Now we don`t know if it was deformed or what. But when she wwoke latter there was only one baby. When my mom questioned dad he said 'leave it alone.' Never was anything mentioned again. All these years we wondered if my father gave up the other baby for financial reasons or health reasons. Whatever whatever thr reason my mom would like to know before she dies. She has two bad kidneys, she`s a diabetic. And she wants to know the truth so she can rest. I had a large cherry red mark at thr top of my butt, that my mom said it looked like a baby was 'cut' off of me. I`m a female and I`ve bee! n wondering along with my mom. The Hospital that delivered me changed hands and they said that the records are in the basement. But no one wants to help us. How it changed my life:DDo to circumstances out of our control, my mom could never have any more children. I am the only child so this has been very hard on me knowwing that maybe I wasn`t alone.
