Father is Charles Blalock mother name is known but unable to trace. Chuck was drafted into the Vietnam War in late 60's. Chuck found out of his girlfriends pregnacy soon before leaving and stressed that he would be willing to take care of the child once born. All efforts failed once Chuck came home in 1971 from Vietnam. The mothers parents would not allow Chuck to see or talk to the mother since she was very young, as he was also. My grandparents tried adopting the child for the young couple, but the mothers parents still did not want anything to do with my family. It has been 10 years now that I have been looking for him. I have started a family tree and all efforts to trace my long long cousin, infact, the only male cousin to carry on the Blalock name. Please help me located him. He would now be around 31 years of age. I dont believe the boy never had a chance to hear my uncles side of the story as to why he was never in his life all these years. Please help! Both mother and father of the child lived in the Lyons, Illinois area. Child was born in a facility for unwed mothers near Chicago. Mother attended Maerker Grade School and went to Hinsdale or Downers Grove High School.
