One night I was laying in bed crying. I was so depressed. My father was an abusive drug addict and I didn't think things could get any worse than they were. I was ready to end it all then something happened that changed my life. I was laying in bed, being as miserable as miserable could be. It was pitch black. I opened my tear-stained eyes and saw the most beautiful sight. There was a golden, glowing sphere floating above me. It stayed there for a minute or so and then disappeared. When it disappeared, a lot of my pain went with it. I think it was my great-grandmother, my namesake coming to take the hurt away. I was never afraid of this vision and I hope I will see her again someday. I think to this day if it hadn't been for her, I'd be another teenage suicide. How it changed my life:It kept me alive and gave me hope and strength.
