Yes...this time Of Year that I long for my Mothers Touch and Voice.

I get sad and still am glad when I see a Mother and Daughter shoping together...having lunch together...(Now the tears come) Memories is all I have.

Then I Remember I am not alone...there are friends whose Mothers are also gone...no longer with them.

I had this small Poem or saying....

A MOTHER'S HEART

Is an eternal thing,

A Protecting Presence,

Through what Life May Bring.

I miss you Momma...My Angel...My Trinidad!

Love DeeDee aka KiKi

(I updated the title) ty.

Date: 5/9/2008 11:44:00 AM  ( Admin )   I lost my mother years ago, it doesn't get easier for me. I loved her so very much. ;(
Date: 5/9/2008 11:54:00 AM  From Authorid: 15070    {{hugs}} I understand, Diana. The 15 of May will be 9 years that I lost my Mom. I miss her every day. This weekend will be tough for me. I am not even making plans with my own kids.

Date: 5/9/2008 12:05:00 PM  From Authorid: 3835    I smile when I see others with their Mothers, Kiki. I am happy for them, that they still have their Mom around and do not understand the heartache that people without their Mother, share kindred with each other. I hold on dearly to all the memories I remember. I knew the day would come for her, since I was a young child, so my heart was already prepared for the day that she would leave to be with God. It hurts, yes, it really does hurt.. but I understand death very well and accept it as a part of living. It is not easy.. but I hope to set an example for my own children to prepare themselves for my departure, and to accept it and move foreward with their lives keeping me close in memory (-: I share heartache of loss of a Mother with you, but I also share my love and hope for our futures' with our own families. I will be going through this again on Father's Day, since 10 months after my Mom's passing, my Father too, departed to be with God. They are in a better place, and I will see them again one day.. my heart tells me that and so too, does Spirit! *hugs Kiki*

Date: 5/11/2008 12:52:00 AM  From Authorid: 63366    Sorry about yours. But alas I am in the same boat since I was 13. I lost mine to an acute case of lead poisoning (suicide). Sometimes I envy those who lost theirs to natural causes then I think “not” because it sucks no matter what time you part ways. The only happiness I have is knowing that she was there at one time.
