I was only 3 months old when my mother whisked me away from my father in New South Wales,Australia. We moved around a lot. Then she met a swiss man and not long after we moved to Frutigen,Switzerland. We lived there a year and a half then moved to Squamish,B.C.,Canada. Years later as I turned 16, I went back to Australia to search for my father. I found him! We spent 4 wonderful years together. He was born in March of 1944. Dark hair. It was really different getting to know him. He was so much different to how I had been raised by 2 strict parents in Canada. While they ran me down and made my life miserable, my father treated me like a real person. I'll never forget that. Well, after 4 years I grew homesick. As much as I had never wanted to return because of my experience growing up in Canada with my mom and stepdad, I did miss the country itself. The mountains, the wilderness, the wildlife, snow at Christmas...I returned. It was painful for my father. We lost touch. I love him very much. I want to speak to him again. I would love to see him again. Let him know I married a wonderful man and have a beautiful brilliant daughter whose now 6 years old. I miss everyone on my father's side. Grandparents Jack and Mary Ann Childs and everyone!I should mention where abouts in New South Wales Australia... Grandparents Jack and Mary Ann Childs moved to Sanctuary Point,N.S.W.,Australia where they bought a house after Jack retired. They used to live in Sadlier,N.S.W. (Jack was born in 1922 and Mary Ann's maiden name is Tester) My father Bert and I lived in Liverpool,N.S.W.. We shared a flat on Castlereagh Street. We both tried to spearhead neighborhood watch in the area as it was a real rough neighborhood. His sister,my aunt Mary Ann and uncle Jim North lived in Holsworthy,N.S.W., an army community. Why we are looking for them:I love him and MISS HIM DEARLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
