~+There is Love+~ *Blue*   Author:  48250  Category:(Poetry) Created:(7/23/2008 6:26:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (148 times) ~ +There is Love+~ I was walking in the countryside One evening late For once I was not in any hurry To be on my way I heard the little birds a’singing noticed the green leaves on the trees As I passed by It had been such a pretty day the sun had been shining When I heard the distant thunder Saw the clouds up in the sky I saw how the pretty flowers were all in bloom How lovely Then suddenly All became so still and quiet I turned around----- saw someone there standing softly crying In the gloom I could see a couple Their hearts broken Clearly saddened Faces stricken with great sorrow I could see they had been there for a while As they stood weeping over The small grave of a child I could see the pain upon their brow as I walked closer Their little one who had gone Then I saw the face of the mother who stood there In the silence so alone I’m not sure To this day What made me walk their way But as I began to softly speak When I walked up to them Took both their hands In my own Said children------ why do you weep For this lil bit O’clay Do You not know That we're all only on loan To return to Him----- Some sweet day We are not our own Gifts given from The Father We are but children of the dust Created by God’s Own precious Holy Hands For each life; He has given there is a great plan Where your child is a'going --You can be sure of Heaven is, Where God is----Eternal Peace---There is Love For this lil' bit O' mortal clay Though so sad and broken In your hearts all you know You’ve given up This precious child you love Don't be a' weepin Do you not believe Down here below He is only a’sleepin But up there above There is a Holy Fountain overflowing In God’s Presence Where all peace surpasses understanding There is Truth ----- Joy unspeakable Such happiness There is Love You know it well In Scripture it tells In the twinkling of an eye We are called away We shall be free In that Heavenly reign To dwell In the House Of The Lord Forevermore Someday With voice broken My heart stricken From the ache I felt inside For the love of this young couple Who held so tightly to my hands I cried O’ Lord Give me the words of wisdom to explain Help me to ease their hurt----- To be a comfort, Lord Somehow in their time of pain Let me, rest on the Rock Your foundation is faithful---- it is true I find my courage----this comfort My Strength ------I find in You From Your Heavenly Throne Above Drink from that Holy fountain overflowing Great blessings in abundance Oh, there is Love You hide me O’ Lord within the protection of Your glorious Wings Trusting in You There is Righteousness---- Beauty in all these things Let us find encouragement, solace Let us go away from here Rejoicing For God has a much better plan Even though all things of this earth must pass away His truths are righteous His Love eternal Forever it shall stand His comfort that it brings Will fill our lives in such a way Reminding us That In God’s House He is our hope in Glory In Heaven above This greater peace in believing For there is a Better place we are a’ going Lord, I am here waiting------- --- Be set free from all pain Such sorrow Fill our hearts----- once again Like the Holy fountain overflowing from above There is assurance within my spirit A blessing knowing Where you are------- There is Love Copyright © 2008 s a l *KyBluebird* You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click here Scroll all the way down to read replies.
