Did you ever see the movie "BRUCE ALMIGHTY"? I had my Bruce Almighty moment. The one where he rages at God. I have no real idea why bad things happen to good people. I have had it explained to me theologically. And I have had it explained to me intellectually. I still have no clue. Life can be so completely unfair. But then again, I cannot see the entire picture. I have no answer for you, I am sorry. |

Sweetheart; These are legitimate questions you have asked here.,
I wish I could answer them for You darlin, but I don’t know why.
I don’t know why bad things happen to good people., but I know many of us if not all of us have asked this very same question at one time or another in our lives, just as You have tonight. But there is one thing I do know------There is a Purpose for everything-----------But Nothing can ever Happen that does not pass through God's Hands First-----in other words, Getting His Approval-------But when bad things do happen, it isn’t because you, me or whoever it might be., is a bad person-------Quite the contrary to what some people might think, God does not punish us.
God is LOVE Sweetheart------------But because we live in a fallen world; in sin., bad things do happen, but God’s promise is when they do., He is there to help us if we call on Him, Pray, Trust in Him-------------some people might even say, God is supposed to be in control, “well if He is in control then why did this or that happen…. Well God is in Control, totally-& that makes me Smile----------And While it is true there are things that are Preordained, other things., God does allow to happen for His Own Sovereign reasons-------------I know that might be so difficult to understand even grasp., But The Holy Bible says God’s ways are not our ways, His Thoughts Higher than our thoughts--------------Sometimes He will let us know why things happen usually after the trial; after the fact----but other times He will not---------------But instead of blaming ourselves or even others when certain things happen in our lives and the lives of others--------------putting our trust in Him is the first step-----------We can be assured that God has a GOOD plan for our lives--------------- while it is true there are going to be times that we go through trials and tribulations; we are tested in order to grow., to learn from certain things in life in order to move on to the next level.,We might as well accept that and face it------ however the Plan God has for our lives is GOOD & In His GOODNESS He will work ALL Things for our own Good------we have His Promise----------------I’ll also say this; you can also be assured when there seems to be one obstacle after another, when we come up against major trial after trial and it seems like the troubles; the hurt will never end-----------Hold On!! Tighten that seat belt darlin!! -------grit Your teeth, Pull up Your sleeves----------You are in for a ride!----------------but one thing about it---when You Trust in The Lord--don’t lose heart or Hope……..God has a Promotion for You waiting at the end of that trial!! :D------------------------You can be assured there are Blessings in Abundance waiting----------if You just won’t give up---------------My Thoughts & Prayers are with You----------------He has Blessings waiting for You Little Lady you can be assured of that--He will strengthen You just ask Him---------God Keeps His Promises never forget that!!
If you need to talk message me anytime Sweetheart
Trust in The Lord------------------Keep The Faith-------God Bless Take/Care |

I wish I knew the reason behind everything that happens, and the only thing I can come up with when it comes to bad things happening is: those times are when we are allowed to grow due to our reactions to those bad things happening. I cant think of any other good reason. |

The good ones are made better by life lessons making them stronger and more capable of handling situations. The bad ones may seem like they never get punished, but in the end, they are the ones who lose.. they will continue to lead themselves down bad roads with nothing to teach them otherwise. Your strength and resilience will pay off Zelena. <33 |

I don't think there are any real answers. I also don't think we're being tested or punished. Life is all around us and life happens to us whether we like it or not. The best we can do is make wise choices to avoid as much of it as we can, and face the challenges when they come. What doesn't kill you... |

I don't know what you believe in, but I believe that everything happens for a reason. Everyone has a plan. Bad things happen to good people so they can learn a lesson...bad things will eventually happen to bad people too...in due time. Karma always seems to work out nicely in the end.
This is a very difficult question to ask...when I had to have a big surgery when I was 12 I asked the same thing... I felt like God was punishing me for something I didn't do...now that I'm 19, I realized how thankful I am that I had that surgery, and I wouldn't have done it any differently. You just have to look at the positive end of everything, and if there isn't anything positive-find something positive about it.
What won't kill you will only make you stronger...remember that.
I am the strongest person that I know...and I can only get stronger.
Don't let ANYTHING break you down. |

My mom (may she rest in peace) used to say this to me whenever I would question why bad things happen to good people...(paraphrase) "This is God's way of reminding us that we're NOT in heaven yet. The trouble that you're suffering through today might be a help to somebody else when they're going through the same thing and they're ready to give up on faith and life. Nothing is permanent, good or bad." |

Sometimes we wonder, "What did I do to deserve this?" or "Why did God have to do this to me?" Here is a wonderful explanation!
A daughter is telling her Mother how everything is going wrong; she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her best friend is moving away.
Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a cake and asks her daughter if she would like a snack, and the daughter says, "Absolutely Mom, I love your cake."
Here, have some cooking oil," her Mother offers. "Yuck" says her daughter.
How about a couple raw eggs?" "Gross, Mom!"
"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?" "Mom, those are all yucky!"
To which her Mother replies: "Yes, all those things seem bad all by themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make a wonderfully delicious cake!"
God works the same way. Many times we wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always work for good! We just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make something wonderful!
