I wasn't going to make a post about this. Mainly because I didn't want to tell everyone, because that makes it more real. Last Friday we found out my Grandfather has alzheimers.. This has been very hard on my family, as my Papaw (my dad's father) died from alzheimers. We all had a very tough time handling him, as he got very angry, and even had to be put into a home because he was "dangerous" to my Granny..
Now that my other Grandpa has it, I'm really scared. They have been moved from their house into assisted living this past week.
The BAD news just came today.. My grandfather has suffered several heart attacks.. and my Mom and brother were just visiting, when my Grandpa started having chest pains.
Mom is taking him to the hospital and my brother is staying with my Grandma at their new "apartment."
Please please keep in your prayers.. I'm so scared, he has to be okay.
**UPDATE** My Mom just called, and they are keeping Grandpa in the hospital over night to try to get his heart back to normal. It isn't beating regular and thats what is causing him pain. She is staying with Grandma tonight, and if they keep Grandpa longer, I'm going to go stay with Grandma tomorrow and however long Grandpa is in the hospital, so she doesn't have to be alone.
Let's keep praying and hoping that they get his heart stable.. I'm still so scared.
