The Ghost in the Attic   Author: 457  Category:(Ghosts) Created:(9/22/1999 11:56:00 AM) This post has been Viewed (1192 times) One saturday night my grandma and grandpa were downstairs in the bar working. My mom and dad had went out for the night. It was just my cousin,10,who had spent the night, my brother 11, my sister 9, and me,I was 12 at the time. My grandma had called upstairs from the bar to where we had lived and asked for a favor. My brother had answered the phone and told us "grandma wants someone to go upstairs and get a cooler". So we all decided to go since the attic was so dark and creepy. You have to think and try to put yourself there. The stairs we were about to walk up were very, very steep that it only fit one person going up the 10 stairs. I then made my brother go first then I followed and my sister and cousin to follow. No one said anything as we started walking up the stairs. When we got to the top my brother stopped at that last stair. I said "keep going". He said nothing. I didn't even try to look over to see what was it that had stopped my brother from going but, I just knew something was there. My brother finally turned around and started yelling go,go. We all turned back trampling down the stairs not knowing what were running from but, it was something. We ran to are side of the house. My brother was crying. He described what he saw. "It was a little boy who looked black and white. He was wearing some old time clothes with some suspenders." My brother said that when he reached the top of the stairs that he the little boy was walking past through the attic and stopped when he seen my brother. He "the little boy" and my brother had made eye contact. The little boy then ran into the other room. My brother had said he felt like he was going to have a heartattack. I do believe what my brother said because the bar and house above it has been haunted for over 20years. I no longer live there no more. Thank god! How it changed my life: To me it was just another incident that happened to me and my family in this evil house and bar. There are more stories and I'll be writing more in the future.
