Most of us have read Wuthering Heights either in High School or in a College literature class. Written by Emily Bronte, this book is a classic and remains one of the best love stories ever told.
This love epic spans generations; and is often haunting, yet inspiring at the same time. A man's love so strong that he ruins everything and anyone around him that had a hand in separating them. A love so strong that even death does not break its bonds.
A few movies have been made from this amazing novel; yet none capture the magic. The one that comes the closest is the version created in 1939; even then literally half of the book is left out. I believe it is almost impossible to capture the passion and rage this book holds.
I give this two thumbs up, as it is on my list of top three best novels. I've actually read this book three times, and haven't gotten tired of it. The love between HeathCliff and Catherine eminates from each page.
