Mysterious Lump... Callice

Well, about a year and a half ago I discoverd that I had this hard lump behind my ear. I didn't think much of it because I have a similiar lump on the back on my neck and it's a skin colored mole. I don't know if any of you have had strep throat before, but the lump is near where they check the glands (or whatever they are) to see if they are swollen. For those of you that haven't had strep throat, that gland is where the back of your jawline meets your neck. For the past few months that gland has been getting hard and is probably an inch long. Btw, I'm not feeling any fever or anything like that, so I doubt it is strep.

Anybody have any idea what this could be? I'm making a doctor's appointment tomorrow and getting in there asap. Anybody have this happen to them and it just turned out to be something that can be cured with antibiotics?

Lots of antibiotics later and the lump is now gone.

I do know one of my friends had this weird lump on the back of her jawline once...I don't remember what it was, but the doc basically opened it and drained it (a cyst or something like that) and it was all better! Hope it turns out to be nothing! Sending positive thoughts your way!! *hugs*
