I know I could call our Insurance Agent...but I thought I would ask here. We had to rod out the sewer line from our house due to the roots from trees, etc. Can we write that off to our insurance or income tax? Just curious. Thanks illy

This sounds more like regular maintenance. Hard to say, what is your deductable? $500 - $1,000? Rodding the sewer lines couldn't have been much more than that I'd think. It's worth a call to your agent anyway.
