Mysterious Little Girl's Voice   Author: 520  Category:(Mysterious) Created:(9/24/1999 5:13:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1251 times) One one particular Sunday afternoon in October,1997 my daughter and I went to my mom's house to visit. When I arrived at her house, my daughter who was 14 years old at the time, saw her friend walking her dog and decided to walk with her before going in to see her grandmother. When I went into my mother's house, my older brother (who lives with my mom) was in the livingroom playing gospel music. My sister (who lives out of town and was there visiting)was in the bathroom fixing her hair, and my mom was in the kitchen. My sister had cooked dinner and I got a plate of food and took it to the dining room to eat and read the newspaper. While I was eating, I heard (whom I thought was my sister) above my brother's music a loud voice shouting for my mom. I then heard my mother ask "Did someone call me?" I didn't pay much attention to the voice as I thought it was my sister. After I finished eating, I went to talk to my sister who had a strange look on her face who asked me where Michelle (my daughter) was. I told her that she was with her friend walking the dog. She then told me that she heard a very loud voice coming from my mom's bedroom (which is next to the bathroom where my sister was at the time) yelling out "Mama!" She said it sounded like a little girl's voice. She could hear the voice clearer than me because it was closer to her. I was shocked because I thought it was my sister yelling for my mother and my sister thought it was my daughter yelling for me. We checked my mom's bedroom and all her windows were shut which eliminated any noise coming from outside. I later spoke with my daughter about it and she was no where around my mother's house. My brother heard the voice too and didn't know what to think. We later came to the conclusion that it meant something supernatural. My mother was 84 at the time and we were afraid that it was a warning that she may not be around long. Fifty seven years ago, my mother lost a set of twin girls at birth. Around thirty years ago, my sister lost two sets of twins (3 boys and a girl) two years apart. We wondered if maybe one of the twins was calling her to come home or even my sister, or perhaps it was my mom's guardian angel. Two months after this occurrence, my mother fell and broke her hip. We all had to take turns and take time off from work to take care of her until she recovered. She is still alive today at age 86. My mother has lived in this house for 53 years and the house was 2 years old when she and my dad moved in. Of all the years we lived in the house, we have never heard any child's voice or any voices. How it changed my life: I believe that deceased loved ones (who are in heaven) know when we are going to face a trial or death and at times are allowed give us a sign that they are there with us and we are not alone to face it by ourselves. I also believe the same about angels.
