God TAKE AWAY HIS PAIN!   Author: 491  Category:(Angels) Created:(9/29/1999 5:38:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1367 times) I was still a young girl and didn't really understand pain and how some people just give up because the pain is so bad...Well this story is about my Great Uncle Kitty. I remember him aways playing with me and scaring me but then he got real sick and couldn't walk anymore. Finally, he was placed in the hospital That was on the 4 of July. The doctor ran some test and it was discovered that he had cancer. The cancer had eaten his insides. The Doctor wanted to do surgery. The family talked it over with Kiddy and he said he didn't want to have surgery, he wanted to go home. Me, being just a child didn't understand this! How could he want to die!!!! The family respected his wishes and spent as much time with him as possible. I prayed from that night on 'God don't let him die,please!!!!) a week later I was still praying and crying myself to sleep. Then one night as I was finally sleeping, I woke up with the most horrible pain. The pain was so intense that I couldn't walk. It was hard to breath. Finally, I was able to roll out of my bed. I crawled to the restroom and back and the pain was getting worse and worse. I couldn't even call out to my mom cause it was suffercating me. I tried to get back in my bed but I couldn't. I laid there On that floor crying like a baby. Then, I understood! I called on God and I said," God if he is feeling this pain, then take him.God take this pain from him. Take him home." After I said that it was like I could feel arms around me and It was like I was lifted up and placed on my bed and the pain I was feeling was gone. The next day I went to see my uncle and I already knew before the told me that he was gone!!! I tried not to cry at his funeral,but I couldn't help myself, My uncle was dead and I grieved! How it changed my life: That night as I lay in my bed, I felt my uncles pain and I lived his suffering. God showed me that sometimes it is best to let them go, then let them suffer.It taught me that God can deliver you from all harm. I know that for years my uncle suffered in silence on til the end, but he believed that God could take that from him. He wanted to go home and I asked God to take away his pain and God did!
