Okay i admit i used to be one of them, maybe the worst of the whole lot. I would read someone's story and write the most insensitive things about them until one night something terrifying happened which i cant explain. And being skeptical about alot of things, not only was i crapping my pants i believe a spirit was after me. Someone told me that if you talk about the dead and in my case used to disrespect them, they come for you. This happened on a quiet wednesday night and i was up to my usual impudent self reading stories from sites like this one and posting the usual disrespectful comments. But instead of laughing from the pleasure i would get from the thought that i was hurting someone, i got the fright of my life. It was after writing a comment for a story about a girl who got a visit from her dead grandmother. I wont tell you the comment i wrote because of its harshness and the fact that im trying forget all about it. But lets say its enough to make you cry and i sure realise that now and sincerely apoligise to everyone that i have ever hurted. Well anyway the moment i posted the comment, everything in the house blacked out and all the power was out...except for my monitor screen. Now the computer was definatelly off because i couldnt see the power light. But as i looked at the screen, i saw a face of an old lady laughing, but i couldnt hear anything. The next thing she disappeared and writing slowly started to emerge and it said.....BE CAREFUL IM AFTER YOU....in blood!!. I panicked and i was so in shock i couldnt move. I cried out for my mum and she came running into my room with a candle. Now it was so dark and in the dark, candles can play tricks with your eyes. And as she walked in, i swear she looked like the lady i saw in my screen and apparently i passed out. In my perspective i thought i woke up on my own bed and had a really bad nightmare that night. However i was in a hospital and apparently i was in a comma for 2 weeks and in my sleep i kept saying "sorry...please go, i'll never do it again". This is what my mum told me, who was by my side nearly everynight. But that wasn't the end of the it. Apparently again, my brain was such in a distraught state from a severe shock that the doctors feared i wasnt going to come out of the comma. And the hospital wardens told my mum, that one night i got a very late visit from an old lady, who they said sat beside me for a while but they didnt disturb her thinking she was my grandmother and it was the following day that i came out of the comma. No one in the hospital knew who this old lady was, and both grandmothers from my parents side past away years ago. But i believe it was the old lady i was mocking who was there to help me knowing that through that whole ordeal i would be a changed person. And in the end, i was trully changed. I have never told anyone about this but would like to share this with the readers here hoping that i can convince people not to be the kind of person i used to be. Alot of people think of it as a joke; i know, cause that's how i thought of it. But the spiritual world is very sacred and something you should respect and if you dont respect it than it wont respect you. All those old me's out there, give it up cause one day its going to happen to you.....believe me. How it changed my life: I have never mocked a soul again, alive or deceased. And the whole episode has changed me to become a more loving, understanding and sincere person. I now involve myself with community work around the area. Lending a hand to whoever needs help. And i cant be any happier than to see the smiles i bring to people's faces.
