This is the author if "Civil War era Graveyard" and "Room left unlivable". I read a reply to one of them asking how long I've noticed ghosts and such. In my reply I answered since five or so in my recollection. Honestly, the reply was too short, so here I go. According to my mother, strange things have happened around me since my birth. Literally. In the hospital room where I was born, when I made my entrance, the room's temperature dropped from standard 78 to a chilly 58. twenty degrees in a few seconds. I always had invisible(to others) playmates, and since no one else could see them, I was labeled "odd" at they very least. I always had fun with my friends, and never once thought to ask why they were around me. the sigtings dropped off dramatically when I hit twelve(puberty?). I still catch a glimpse now and again of figures, but nothing really substantial like I used to. After I stopped seeing, I began to really dig into written accounts of the super and para natural. I devoured everything I could, and it still isn't enough. The last true visible sighting I had was of a friend from my childhood. We lived in central Florida for seven years together, but circumstances(parents) seperated us. he went to New York, I moved further north in Florida. He died when I was fourteen, and I saw him that day. I knew he was dead, but since I'd seen dead people before, he didn't frightne me. he waved and faded out. Now I go ghost hunting when I can. Haunted houses, graveyards and such. I've tried summonings of various types, but no Ouija boards yet. haven't been desperate enough. I've done time in military service(USAF), and in that time have seen a great many things. I knew a bona-fide mind reader from Montana. Saw a green light on base that disabled several pieces of equipment. I even made a room get haunted in my absence. And I am only 23 now. My only complaint is this: I wish I could show people what I've seen. I can't properly describe what I've seen. I can be descriptive, but not enough. My advice to all would-be seekers: take it easy. It'll come to you eventually. Some of us aren't given that much time. Enjoy it! Believe me on that. You'll get a little irritated when this stuff invades your whole life. I deal with it from long experience, and there are times I wish it would all stop. never has, and I don't believe it ever will, just because I won't let it. So relax folks! You'll get your turn. How it changed my life:This is my life. It's a wonder I'm not medicated by now.
