I am in search of my husband's two brothers. They were adopted out by the Muskingham County Child Welfare Department in Zanesville, Ohio in 1955. At birth, one of their names was Thomas Edward Campbell, Jr. born January 17, 1953 in Boulder CO at Sanatuim Hospital with marks of a light blue across the nose that was a permanent mark and the other was Billy Campbell, born July 25, 1954 in Nashville Tenn. My mother in law wrote an NSF check in the amount of $81.00 and was sent to Marysville Prison for three years. While she was there, Judge Holland M. Gary (the probate judge then) took the boys and placed them in foster care then eventually they were adopted out without the consent of the mother or father. The adoption took place on/around October 1955. My husband and I have talked frequently with a social worker at the Child Services in Zanesvillewhere she has informed us that in 1982 the boys contacted the agency and with united together. She has also informed us that Th! omas' name did not change that he is still Thomas Edward ????. Due to state adoption laws, thats all the information she could provide us with. We have hired an investigator from the Columbus Ohio area in hopes to find our family. They have no idea of what a family they have in Mississippi. We are 'all' in hopes to finding them soon for the mother is not in the best of health and since it 'has' been 43 years since she last laid eyes on her boys, been able to express her love to them or been able to explain the details of how a coniving judge would do such an act as this. Please help us to make her dreams come true. If you know the where-abouts of a Thomas Edward or Billy that was adopted on/around 1955 from the State of Ohio, please contact me at URsmilin2@aol.com. May God Bless you!!! How it changed my life:I would love to see my husbands dream come true!!!!!!!
