UFO'S IN TEXAS 1979   Author:  830  Category:(UFO) Created:(10/6/1999 2:36:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1706 times) My brother and I were lying in the back of our dads pick-up one summer night back in 1979 heading from Houston to Dallas to visit some relatives.My brother and I were 8 and 9 years old.You could see every star in the sky as we were heading up interstate 45.We were in the middle of nowhere with no city lights to obstruct the view.The both of us were laying on our backs looking up at the night sky for shooting stars when what we thought was a shooting star appeared.It was very high up in the atmoshere,if you've ever seen a satellite that's how small it was.It was just a tiny red dot.And it shot across an area about 6 inches wide if you were to hold your fingers toward the sky.And it would stop then go in a pinball type controlled manner.Then another red dot appeared and began chasing the other one.At times they would both disappear and reappear,like they went behind a black curtain or turned their lights out in a playful manner for about 5 minutes then we never saw them again.At the time we thought they were shooting stars but now that i look back I know it wasn't.
