I totally agree with the things you said, I feel the same way, and I think about things like that and more. Glad to see there's someone out there that thinks about this things too. Becky |

I have wondered about these things too. I wonder about the universe, it has no ending. Is there life out there? I think if we knew the answers to everything, it would be so mind boggling, we couldn't handle it. Only after we die will we know. |

Dear confused and confused, What if you actually thought about what you were saying. You say you are very religious, yet you speak what if's about the bible. The bible is written for you to have faith in. A blind faith because you will never really know until it is to late, right or wrong the only thing you will have is your belief. You might have attended a church or two but you are not strongly religious as you said. You write of religion to recieve replies. You need not do this. A truly religious person would not want to present any doubt in thier religion for others doubt enogh for everyone. Now on to a few WHAT IF'S: W/I people truly were responsible for what they did or said, you know like an eye for an eye type thing. How would we all act then. And if this is a great way to live why didn't god make things happen this way. W/I people who could justify killing someone were allowed to kill them, who would be the judge. hopefully a close friend of mine. W/I instead of you constantly making up a bunch of stories you actually tried to get an education. Just what if's, don't worry your safe. I wouldn't want to force you back in school I can imagine how hard 4th grade would be the second time.....MR HAWK |

To truly understand the Bible you need to take special classes. The story about Adam and Eve is a mythical one. Adam is Latin for man and Eve is Latin for life. Man needed life and the temptation to eat of the forbidden fruit is really man coming to grasp what life has to offer. |

Mr. Hawk, I wonder, are you going to give these types of comments to you son when he starts asking them, cause he will. Just think about what you are saying. Maybe some day they will come back to haunt you, or your son. What if... your son when he is 20, comes onto one of these boards and people tell him that he's lying and to get a life and go back to school? I hope I hit a nerve or at least just made you THINK a little how your comments affect other people. |

to author 276, what makes you judge someone else's story if your so religious? Jesus said he will be the one to judge, what makes you think you have the right to judge someone elses thoughts. People can be religious but still wonder about things in life. It's only human nature to be curious and we all are sinners. No one's perfect and if you have to judge people like that, then i would say you are not a religious person at all. I can't believe you would critize someone's own thoughts, afterall they are not yours so what is your problem with it? |
