REINCARNATION???   Author:  1038  Category:(Interesting) Created:(10/18/1999 1:02:00 PM) This post has been Viewed (1198 times) Okay - it has taken me a long time to get up my nerve to write this down, but I'm going to give it a try and see if sounds as unbelievable to you as it actually does to me - and it happened to me! This is the first clear memory I have of my life on earth - I was less than two years old, I don't know exactly how old I was, but I am judging by where we lived at the time. I was playing on a tire swing in our front yard. All I had on was a little pair of white shorts (girls did that back then). All of I sudden my soul came into my body. It was like I was being crammed in a box or slammed into a box. Ok, ok, ok - I know that sounds like the biggest bunch of baloney you've ever heard. It's hard to explain what I mean. I was just playing on that swing and all of a sudden I knew who I was and where I was, what I was wearing, who my family was, etc. I had like a grown up awareness of my surroundings and I was just a baby really. All I can figure out is that I may have chosen what body to be reincarnated into. If that makes sense to anyone, or if anyone has had a similar experience, please reply to me and tell me about your experience. That experience has concerned me all my life. I don't even know that I believe in reincarnation, but this did happen to me. My mother always said I acted a lot older than I was - I could talk, walk and read like a much older child, and I had an odd habit of "comforting" people when something bad happened. I would say, "It's okay, it will be all right," and pat them. When my mother's father died I was four years old. My mother told me that he had died during the night and when I awoke the next morning I got out of bed, came to her and sat on her lap and told her not to worry, that Grandpa was okay. I don't remember doing that, but she said she thought at the time that I had just been repeating something I heard someone else say. How it changed my life: I've read alot about reincarnation and I don't know if I believe in it or not, but I do know what happened to me and it has bothered me all my life. If reincarnation happens, can we choose who to come back as? Do we always have to be reincarnated at birth, or can we choose later like I seemed to do? I want to know if anything like this has happened to anyone else.
