I don't have the answer to your questions but i will tell you this. you feel the way you do because you want to. it's noone elses fault that you feel sorry for yourself and when you punish yourself, you are only punishing yourself. to get the best of this world you have to want the best, and expect the best. if you expect the worst, than thats all your ever gonna get. you need to quit feeling sorry for yourself and stride to gain a better life from those around you who do care about you. no matter how alone you might feel, there's always someone that cares for you. and where did adam and eve come from? stick to the same story. |

Think of something that angers u so much u go into rage. your in hell. THink of something that makes u laugh or makes u happy. u get tastes of heaven and hell through life. Also u can't believe everything in the bible. THeir are to many contradictions. God is all good and all knowing. To me god is all good and he has no darkness. The bible says god will punish u for not believing in him and u will go to hell. That is a sin to punish ,god would not do that. If u think God would punish well your god is not all good he has some evil. If he has some evil then that means he is no different from devil. Jesus says god is waiting with open arms. Through bible i accept a lot of what jesus said. But remember jesus said u cannot trust people cause all people do have evil. The bible has been revised by people. Jesus is gods son. he is an example of god in human form. When someone didn't believe in jesus what did he say. He said nothing and walked away. he never said well u don't believe so u go to hell. He never said that. Only the priests did which were human and jesus says u cannot trust them. Everyone says u have to fear god. I understand he is powerful but again he is all good. I want to get this straight to people. U would not fear something that is all good. Fear comes when u believe u will be hurt in someway. If god is all good what is their to fear. He has only goodness stored for u. HE cannot hurt he is all good and no darkness. zip. And if you believe your god can hurt or punish then your god is no different from the devil. I have nobody in my family who is into religion. i studied it on my own and i notice that people act like everything they read from bible is true. If it is then your saying god commits sins and is not all good. I came into religion on my own and even became baptized. remember the devil has freedom to test us. Anything on earth he can use but remember this the devil is evil and is tricky. He tried to trick jesus and will do same to u. Anything that is bad like god punishing for those not believing in him is done by devil. He will do anything to bring fear to u. Everyone knows difference between good and bad. Anything good like god is like a piece of god calling to u. Remember jesus says light and darkness cannot mesh. God is the light the goodness. So the good stuff in bible is god. Bad stuff is the devil. Devil will do anything evil. So good equals god. god doesn't equal bad. If u believe in god that sins u are being tricked by devil. god that is all good will not punish. God that has evil cannot be a god of all good and i would not believe in. |

First of all, all you have to know is that God is LOVE! Anything that does not come from love does not come from God. To the person who says there are a lot of contradictions in the bible. This is true, however it is not because any part of it is evil, it's because there is a new testament and an old testament. Jesus was God's new covenant with us. With Jesus came a new beginning. Jesus came to show us the way. God sees us just the way he made us; perfect. We are the ones who perceive ourselves as sinners, as no good, and as imperfect. What we need to do is first see ourselves as the perfect being that God made us and act that way and second see God not, just in every human being, but in all things. I've been wanting to read a book called "WISDOM OF THE AGES", but have not had a chance. I did get to read one chapter of it and in this chapter the author quotes many wise people, besides Jesus, some that I remember are the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, Equitus (not sure of spelling), and others. The point is this: it does not matter what we call God. What matters is that we acknowledge that we as individuals are NOT GOD. As a whole it is different because as Christians we believe that we all make up of the Body of Christ. What this means is that we are ONE. Even if you're not Christian, you are still a part of the universal GOD> Anything and everything that you do affects me and everything that I do affects you. It is like a body. When you stub your toe, your hand doesn't say, oh thank goodness it wasn't I who was injured. No, every cell in your body does it's job to heal whatever part is hurting. And so are we suppose to be this way. When someone hurts they operate out fear. Fear of rejection, fear of getting hurt, fear of succeeding....the fears we have are too many to name. But anything that is fear based is not loved based and therefore does not belong to GOD anymore. So the answer should be simple just LOVE and allow yourself to be LOVED. If we all operated in this manner, believe me this would be HEAVEN on earth. |

to the author you seem so well read but also mislead as you have misrepresented Scripture, Adam did not complain of loneliness because he was perfect and without sin and the bible does not prove out your point of view rather it says that God himself said it was not right to let Adam be alone and with out a helper. also there is one above me that says God will not do evil, you are right because everything God does is perfect and holy even if He kills one or a hundred there is a holy reason behind it and it in no way means he is evil. God most certainly does punish evil; and all one has to do is read the scriptures to see this. you says we cannot believe the bible because there are many contradictions in it? does this also mean that we cannot believe you as there are many contradictions in what you say? |

| Date: 5/2/2000 4:31:00 PM I want to comment on one of the comments above regarding God and punishment..If people would study Gods word..they would see that God is love(1John4:8-16)God is mericiful(Psalms 136:1,..Matt.5:7...Proverbs 16:6..there are many verses about the mercies of God..God is righteous..Psalms 50:6..Psalms 111:3..God is pure ..God is holy ..God is just..Look these things up and read for yourself..God is also a jealous God..This comes about when His creation attempts to follow after idols..Exodus 20:5...You see..God has the emotions that we possess..but God is a righteous God...His is a Godly jealousy..All of Gods emotions are righteous and good..this is where He says that He created us in His image..He didnt created our physical bodies in His image ..but He gave us emotions ..He gave us the ability to know right from wrong when using these emotions also..God can also be an angry God...Psalms 7:11..Also ..In Matthew 21:12..when Jesus Himself overturned the tables in the temple..you can see that Christ was angry..He didnt commit a sin...He had a righteous angerThere are many examples showing Gods anger at the people He created..God can also grieve..He grieved and was sorry He made man in the days of Noah..Read Gen.6:6-7..Read Exodus 32:14..Yes the Bible says that God is love but it also tells us of Gods other characteristics..Also God cast the devil down from heaven when he sinned..God also tells us that hell was created for the devil and his angels..just as heaven was created for God and His angels..God also says This is the whole duty of man...To fear God and keep His commandments..This means One must fear the consequences of living an evil life ..fear what God said He will do to the ones who refuses to live their lives as He created us to do...Now I can show you book,chapter and verse for my teaching and If anyone attempts to teach me anything I would expect them to do the same..I let my wants and opinions go and I go to see what God has to say about any given subject..I take Gods words ..not mans...Sincerely Oxy |

There was a mistake made when God made man,but in reality we still have to live by his rules regardless of the mistake. God wants all of us HAPPY and FREE FULL OF JOY and LOVE, SO whatever the circumstance surrounding the creation of man we must still serve GOD WITH ALL OUR HEART, MIND, AND SOUL IN ORDER TO MAKE IT TO HEAVEN..
