My Dog Was Found On The Telephone Pole

Wyoming. 10 years ago or so. It was fall and just about to snow in October. We had four small dogs. They seem to be cleaner and eisier to take care of and feed. Anyway, it all started with my black and white poodle who disappeared. He has never gone twenty feet from the house without someone walking with him. One week later I found his tiny skull in my yard. It had no hair on it. My second dog, a daschound, disappeared. Two days later it snowed. I found him in the spring after the snow melted and he was smashed up against my yard fence with perfect preservation. I searched and he was NOT there before it snowed and while the snow was melting. My third dog just simply disappeared with no trace. My fourth dog, a terrier, was gone for three days until I found him on top of a telephone pole 100 yards away from my home. It gave me the creeps but there was nothing I could do. Between two hours from my seeing him up there, he was gone and I never seen him again. I have new dogs now and they have not disappeared, thankfully.

How it changed my life:

I am curious as to where my dogs went and how did my dog end up on top of a telephone pole.

Date: 10/24/1999 7:51:00 AM    How awful for you! I am sorry about your dogs.
This is very strange and bizarre. Did you call the
police? I would keep myself and my dogs very
close to home!
Date: 10/24/1999 8:38:00 AM    i find it very discusting that a human being being could treat animals like that. They should the person that did this can put him on the electric chair. I am very sorry about your dogs.
Date: 10/25/1999 10:07:00 AM  From Authorid: 1370    this is the worst story i have ever heard. please delete it.
Date: 10/25/1999 10:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 277    What did you do? Did you leave your dogs out yapping all night long? I don't like poodles myself, but I don't think I'd actually kill one. How in the world would a dog get on top of a telephone pole? It sounds pretty fictional.....Hawk
Date: 10/25/1999 2:06:00 PM    I agree with comment number 3,that is so cruel and terrible what a person can do to animals,I love animals and they are so innocent and adorable,I just think that people that treat animals with no respect or love then I feel that those people should be treated the same way and see how they like it.I just am so strong when it comes to animals,I love animals so much.I was thinking why did you leave your animals in the yard when they started missing.I mean why did you have 4 dogs to begin with? Also maybe someone does not like you, were you in a grudge with anyone?I just hope those cruel people that did that to your dogs are locked up in jail rotting away!!!!
Date: 10/25/1999 2:46:00 PM    Who would do something like that? I'm an 11 year old kid and I know better not to do something like that.
Date: 10/25/1999 10:03:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 1244    I live out on a farm and my animals have plenty of room to run free wich rules out the need for fencing them or tying them up. My only explanation for my dog on the telephone pole is that a hawk or eagle did that. Thank You all for your comments.
Date: 11/4/1999 3:45:00 PM  From Authorid: 1135    I agree with comments 3 and 6. Some cruel jerk did it. If I were you, I'd get a huge, mean, vicious dog. It would never happen again.

Date: 8/31/2000 11:27:00 AM  From Authorid: 820    Oh my god!.. That's sad!.. I am really sorry about your 4 dogs!!..
Date: 9/28/2000 10:42:00 AM    Keep your dog(s) or any domesticated animal inside and walk it with a leash. Or, go outside with the animal if your yard is fenced-in and stay with him until he is finished. I hope you reported this to your local police department. I don't want to scare you but, many serial killers start out by torchering animals. God did not create creatures for us to use and abuse. As the Bible tells us, we are to have "dominion over" (that means responsibilty for) all of God's creation. That includes every living thing. It breaks my heart to see and hear of so many who will not turn from their selfish/wicked ways...back to God. God Bless You. Sharon
