When I was younger my brother always told me our house was haunted, and of cours I believed him. I believed him until I was about 7. Eight years later, I didn't believe him anymore. I knew it was just a joke he told me to scare me. Then it came true. I was asleep in my bed when my TV came on. It was about 3:30 at night, and the remote control was across the room I sat up to see why, and there it was! A ghostly figure was sitting at the foot of my bed. I was scared to death. It sat there for about an hour and a half. I didn't do anything about it I didn't know what to do. Finally it got up and left, and I thought it must have been a dream. It wasn't though. The next morning where it had been sitting I found a scorched mark on my bed where it had been sitting!
