I ws laying in bed one night looking towards the door which was open. The hall light was on because Mum and Dad were still up. As I was looking towards the bedroom door I could see a hand feeling the doorway as though it was feeling for the light switch. I yelled out to my Dad and he turned the light on but he didn't see anything. This happened about three times and my Dad was getting annoyed with me and told me to go to sleep and dream about nice things. My parents decided to go to bed. So I was now left in the dark alone. The hand came back and then a man appeared to walk through the doorway he was I would say in his 60's he had on long trousers and a jumper. At first sight you would think he was a normal person but as you looked at him more closely you could actually see through him as well. He walked around the bed and came closer to me as he approached me he had a double barrel shot gun and aimed it straight at my face. I was so! frozen with fear but somehow I managed to pull the sheets over my head and that was the last I saw of him. How it changed my life: I am now frightened of the dark and when people talk about ghosts and say they don't believe in them I ask them if they have seen one and if they say no I say don't make a judgement and something you know nothing about.
