Two years ago, after a 5 month battle with cancer, my father passed away. I was very fortunate to have helped care for him at home during the last months of his life. In this time we became quite close. Approximately 2mos. after he died, I was standing in my kitchen, doing dishes when the radio suddenly came on of its own accord, this startled me and I went to shut it off , which requires pushing a button. The radio refused to turn off. I began pushing other buttons which would normally switch stations, this also had no effect. I had a very strange sensation which I could only describe as electric, the hair on the back of my neck felt like it was standing up, I felt slightly afraid, yet calm I figure I pushed 4 or 5 buttons before the thing shut off. My Dad gave me that radio as a gift several years before, and just after it finally shut off , I looked around and wondered if he had been there almost as if to say, 'I'm still here.' How it changed my life:I tend to be more open minded about the possibility of spirits. And perhaps a little more hopeful about life after death.
